Anglers and Shearwater Esplanades Revetment Walls - Testimonial

The Gold Coast City Council advertised tenders in 2005 for the re-construction of revetment walls off Anglers Esplanade and Shearwater Esplanade, Runway Bay.

After a rigorous evaluation of the tenders the contract was awarded to Aqua Drainage Solutions.

Highlights of the contract include:-

• The Aqua Drainage Solutions contract price was significantly less than alternative revetment wall designs.
• The pre-cast blocks were cast off site which was very beneficial due to the high visibility and aesthetics of the site.
• On-site works were amazingly quick and significantly quicker than would have been the case for alternative revetment wall designs.
• The finished product looks really great.
  

The contract was carried out satisfactorily and was completed to the complete satisfaction of Council.
