Esk Shire Council find solution with Aqua Drainage Solutions
A timber bridge on Duck Creek between Toogoolawah and Somerset dam was posing a problem for us in that we had a scour on both sides of the "B" abutment that was putting pressure on the old timber retaining structure, the drop into the creek was about 4m.
Chris came up with a cost and time effective solution by placing his drainage blocks on either side of the abutment, as I recall the project took 3 days from when he landed on site.
We had an earth wall on a roadway in a just completed subdivision in Lowood that required protection from passing water and retaining in a steeper section, Chris again came up with an effective and aesthetically pleasing outcome by placing blocks from the batter toe up to maximum of 3 blocks high. This was again done in only a couple of days and with a minimum of mess to our site. |
